Not a wall of legalese. Just what you can expect from me, and what I’m asking of you.
The essays, letters, courses, and everything else here are mine. You’re welcome to quote a passage with credit and a link, send a piece to someone who needs it, or print something out for your own use.
What I’d ask you not to do: republish a whole piece elsewhere, sell it, put your name on it, or feed it into something you charge people for. If you want to use something in a way this doesn’t cover, just ask — the answer is usually yes.
Everything in the collection is digital unless the page says otherwise, and it arrives by email or download right after you buy. Prices are in US dollars. Payment is handled by Stripe.
What you buy is licensed to you, one person, for your own use. Please don’t share the files, resell them, or run them as material inside something you teach for money.
If something isn’t what you hoped for, write to me within 30 days and I’ll refund it. I’d rather you have your money back than a thing that isn’t right for you.
Coaching is a partnership. I ask questions, notice patterns, and hold the thread; you do the deciding and the living. It isn’t therapy, counseling, or medical, legal, or financial advice, and it isn’t a substitute for any of those. If something comes up that needs a different kind of professional, I’ll say so.
What you tell me stays between us. The only exceptions are the ones the law doesn’t leave me a choice about, or a genuine risk of harm.
Sessions are booked by appointment. If you need to move one, give me 24 hours where you can and we’ll find another time. Life happens; tell me and we’ll sort it out.
People on this site describe real changes in their work and their lives, in their own words. I’m glad about every one of them, and I can’t promise you the same. What happens depends on what you bring and what you do afterward, and neither of those is mine to control.
I link to other people’s work when it’s good. Once you’ve left this site you’re in someone else’s house, under their terms, and I can’t vouch for what changes there after I linked to it.
I keep this place working as well as I can, but it’s a personal site, not a utility. Things occasionally break or go offline. Where the law allows it, I’m not liable for losses that come from using the site or from anything you read here.
I’ll update this page and change the date below. What was true when you bought something stays true for that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina.
